   Training

"Khartiia" will help

each fighter to

/strengthen his will\

Tactical Medicine

Tactical Medicine courses teach you how to take immediate action to save your own life and the lives of your comrades. Identifying and stopping critical bleeding, checking and maintaining airway patency, rendering aid under fire, evacuating the wounded and many other extremely useful skills.

Whether you're deep in the rear, on the front lines or in peacetime, these skills will enable you to act confidently and effectively when life is at stake.

Tactical Training

Tactical training teaches to make quick decisions and act on them right away. It's about working together as a team, moving smoothly on the battlefield, switching between attack and defense, and knowing how to fight effectively in urban landscape and in close-quarter combat (CQB).

All these aspects are covered in tactical training lessons, where each fighter learns and internalises the experience of modern combat through practical exercises.

Military Topography

Military topography will teach you how to navigate the terrain day and night without using a GPS device. You will master the compass, learn how to read a map, move by azimuth, determine the cardinal points and recognize designated landmarks.

Most importantly, you will always be able to understand the location of your own forces and allies.

Engineering Training

Engineering training teaches you how to camouflage yourself, your weapons and equipment, and your position. You will also be introduced to the most common types of roadblocks and mines, practise their use, and learn how to protect yourself from mine traps.

You will learn how to organise platoon and company strongpoints, construct and use reliable bunkers, pillboxes and other types of fortifications.

Commander training

The training programme for unit commanders is much more comprehensive and intensive. A commander must serve as a role model and leader for his soldiers, while being able to accurately assess the situation, analyse tasks,  create a

comprehensive plan of action, formulate and issue combat orders, and make decisions under all circumstances.

Firearms training

Firearms training will first and foremost make you a confident user of firearms and teach you to shoot accurately. Most importantly, you will acquire a solid and thorough knowledge of safe firearm handling that will last a lifetime.

During the practical shooting sessions you will practise accurate and skilful shooting with firearms such as AK, RPK, PK/PKM, SVD, UAR-15, UAR-10 and you will be able to fire accurately from all shooting positions. You will also learn the specifics of American firearms (M4, M249, M240, M320) and firearms from other NATO countries.

You will gain valuable experience in maintaining firearms in working order under adverse conditions and be able to quickly rectify malfunctions during shooting.

Shooting exercises in firearms training are designed to effectively use both prepared and improvised cover and to hone skills in loading, reloading, aiming, firing and unloading firearms. It also includes shooting on the move, providing cover fire, moving under cover of comrades, successful close combat and many other useful skills.

Training of specialists

Specialists receive specialised training in their respective fields, including the study of communications equipment, UAV piloting, the use of MANPADS and ATGMs, the operation of combat vehicles and the use of specialised weapons.

Physical training

Physical training is extremely important, as each fighter must be strong and enduring enough to successfully perform his duties. To achieve this, fighters undergo both collective and individual training.

Artillerymen Training

Artillerymen undergo highly specialised training, which includes technical maintenance of artillery equipment, design of firing tables, tactical operations and effective fire support, training of robotic communication systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency of fire.

Work is carried out in cooperation with other types of military forces and in interaction with command and intelligence units.

Tank Training

The brigade’s tank training process includes theoretical knowledge, combat vehicle training and the development of tactical techniques that meet NATO standards. Our courses cover various aspects of tank development in combat, including maintenance, navigation, gunnery

training, tactical operations and how to interact effectively with other units on the battlefield and respond promptly to changing circumstances.

Non-combat roles

It's worth noting that apart from the combat professions, there are a number of specialities that are also of value to Khartiia. Electricians, system administrators, cooks, drivers and car

mechanics can all make a significant contribution with their skills, even more so than in combat roles.
